Brazos Follow

This is the day that pain falls away in the afterglow
bright like the sound of the gulls passing round above and below
you are are in tune a shelter of fumes as you cast out your long net
and hold it all above a one not pillow and let it go

so you're on fire and the contents of your cage expire
all of a sudden you're floating about
and as you rise you send signals to the sky
i see them from where i lie though i can't really say who they're for
