BEYOND THE LAKE THE NEXT MORNING
(Finally they arrive in the PHANTOM'S lair. Downstage
the candles in the lake lift up revealing giant
candelabrums outlining the space. The boat turns into a
bed. There is a huge pipe organ. The PHANTOM sits at
the organ and takes over the accompaniment)

to this kingdom

(During all this, the PHANTOM has conditioned
CHRISTINE to the coldness of his touch and her fingers

I have always loved the Phantom musical since I saw it on my 11nthbirthday with my mom. This is the most romantic song in the entireopera and it is so beautiful. I remember singing this for my 6thgrade talent show and seeing my teacher cry, which shows how wellmusic effects you if you let it.

Love this song. It's so romantic. It's about how music canaffect you, how it can change your opinion of people. The Phantomis ugly, but he has a beautiful voice. I love how the Phantommusical is romantic, but a little dark at the same time.

Phantomof the Opera is my favorite musical, and this is one of myfavorite songs from it.
