It’s only the apocalypse

Only the apocalypse of my heart

The further I go
The more the world seems blown

My world’s gone
Full-blown
Nothing is everything
Empty is full
All my malevolence has become benign

Where have I gone?
This world is too strange
Some kind of disease
I seem to have become lost
Within my own mind?

The end?

My world’s become the apocalypse
The city of fire consumes my heart
This destruction tears us a part
I still see no reason
No reason to have such a change in season

Fire’s wound down tight!
The clouds, all too ready to fight!
The earth is in blight!

My world’s been totaled
Nothing is just quite right
Can’t say that I’m fine
Especially when I don’t know what’s mine
Do I stay?
Or do I stand up and fight?
No one’s here
Not anymore
I’m wound tight in fear

Completely afraid!
My heart is frayed
Tattered at its end
Decayed in its core
