Limericks lyrics

I had several Dog Clark and His Hot Nuts albums in high school
My friend and I attended a dance in 67-69(?) at the St Louis Armory. Everyone there was very gracious to the only honkies there. I now write poetry, and am a champion of the limerick, first inspired by:

There once was a plumber named Lee,
Who was plumbin' his girl by the sea,
She said, "Stop Plumbin,'
Somebody' comin',"
He said, "The only one comin' is me!"

I remember Homecoming, Rush Week, not sure which this was on.
They were great.

Sincerely,
Elliott
