Out of bed, sit – water boil
Cup of black tea – little cream
God painted morning – Finger paints with oils, oh

Dusty light hit tile floor
Open windows and take down storms, well
Spring air hits – it just smells clean

Fishing pole sits by the door
I can’t wait - just one chore more

My friend Mike he - fishes too
I’ve seen him happy and I’ve seen him blue
But I’ve never seen him smile like he smiles at you

My spirit is singing – oh, we shall be free
And I don’t know where that comes from but it sounds alright by me
I will wave goodbye as I set this ship back out to sea

Wader boots – old black dog
Couple good flies there in my box
If you look real close you can see a big trout rise right there by those rocks
