The Little Tears In Champagne lyrics
[One, Two, Three, Four]
The early birds will warmly greet the late arrivals
The best of Barbara skips and everybody smiles
Across the handshakes, past the cheeks they will be kissing
The family camera searches for the only member missing
And the party goes on
In a world two feet above her
You’ll find her sad at any celebration by whatever name
She says that bubbles are the little tears in champagne
Staring through the banister, or hiding in the kitchen
She answers questions as if she were on a secret mission
They raise their glasses and they toast to days gone by
She hears them laughing when she knows they really wanna cry
And the party goes on
In a house too big to notice
A little girl lost among the decorations in a waiting game
She says that bubbles are the little tears in champagne
And she watches their eyes till the thought that explode
Like the faith we put in people, but we really should have known
And she watches their eyes and their monumental tasks
But do they ever long to go back to the bottom of the glass, the bottom of the glass
Close your eyes and go to sleep and dream of all the things you’ll do
Then imagine waking up with nothing to look forward to
It’s just another holiday, everybody drinks too much
If this is how they treat themselves, imagine what they’ll do to us
And the party goes on
And she decides never to grow up
You’ll find her sad at every celebration by whatever name
She says that bubbles are the little tears in champagne

That's the song. I think these lyrics are pretty much correct, except for the middle eight. I really had no earthly idea about that part. :P
