What a Wonderful World lyrics
Oooo, oooooo,ooooo,ooooooo
oooo,oooo
Ooooo,oooo,oooo
Oooooo,ooooo,ooooo,ooo,
oooo,oooo,ooo
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
Once in a lullaby
Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dream of
Dreams really do come true
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind....me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Oh, Somwhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dream that you dare to
Why oh why can't I
Well I see trees of green
And red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Well I see skies of blue
And I see clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
See friends shakin hands saying
'How do you do?'
They're really sayin,'I, I love you."
I hear babies cry
And I watch them grow
They'll know much more than we'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Oh, someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dare to
Why oh why can't I...I
Ooooo,oooo,ooooo,ooooo,oooo,oooo......

I am really pleased you maintained the integrity of the voice/style/lyrics of IZ Kamakawiwo'ole even to the detail of speaking to those of us who appreciate and have an ear for pigin' Hawaiian language. Our world would be less beautiful and wonderful were it not for these polynesian Americans(now) that makes the song even better in the amazement of What a Wonderful World. I appreciate the music and lyrics just the way you have presented them. Individually and uniquitely IZ Kamakawiao'ole - you are to be thanked and congratulated in the accuracy and presentation of the Man and the Music all other critics can just soak in Waimea Bay. :-)

I have just recently discovered the arrangements of Somewhere over the Rainbow and What a Wonderful World, by IZ Kamakawiwo'ole. What a wonderfully gifted human being with a manner and style that only reflects the most wonderful traits of our Hawaiian brothers. I am saddend to discover his untimely death has silenced his wonderful instrument in his voice. I imagine God needed to have IZ Kamakawiwo'ole reach far more people in heaven with his spirit and gentle manner. I am so glad we have these recordings. Thanks to the [publishers for their presentations.
