And other unidentifiable flying objects

I dismissed them all as being science fiction
They belonged on a library shelf
But here I am facing contradiction

Well he came down to Earth and he lit in a tree

I said, "Mister Purple People Eater, what's your line?"
He said, "eating purple people, and it sure is fine"

Pigeon toed, undergrowed, flying purple people eater
He wears short shorts, flying purple people eater
Sure looks strange to me!

I saw him last night on the Sullivan show

Blowing purple music through the horn in his head
