I've always loved Leon Russell and this song in particular. I think it's about a trip he and his "hippie commune" took to England back in the 70's. Joe Cocker is the space caption, Bobby Sherman is reading Shakespeare, runway strikes speaks to the actual strike, religious leaders(?)Derek is the future Domino,chronic bleeder(?) Leo Fender's pride and joy is the electric Fender guitar--What else? I don't know--but I know that Leon is the best and I wish him good health and happiness!
