Fed up with a phantasmagoria
Very unhappy with the spirit of euphoria

I don’t want to write another word about preparations into which everything but the kitchen sink went
Just gimme a good old 100 percent red blooded American juvenile delinquent

If I hear another twenty one gun salute I’m gonna shot somebody
If I see any more dancing in the streets I’m gonna call a cop
If I hear one more word about joy running supreme I’ll scream
If there is one more jewel theft
There won’t be one more jewel left

I’ve had it with the cheering and the laughter
If I never hear about another fairy tale romance
I can live happily ever after

The whole things become absurd
And love is a four letter word
