That is what the homeless shelters are for...I've been there...you can get a hot meal, shower and warm bed...it's the homeless and poverty stricken who can qualify for free grants to go to college or trade school to learn a skill !

I don't think this song is just about 'mr. president' though, I think it makes us question the views and attitutes we have ourselves, towards Bush, America, the war, and the people who have been put in the situations Pink mentions. (who here can honestly say they really made a difference in the aftermath of katrina...) Pink is getting at all of our opinions and attitudes...we condemn bush yet HOW HAVE WE HELPED?
And whoever said Pink doesn't know hard work I think is wrong, I think she had a very tough childhood, in one interview she said she had a crack habit from a very young age, and her friend died of an overdose. She didn't always have million pound record deals...she had a hard life, which, imo, equals hard work.

That is how I have helped. There IS something (Congress) can do. HELP and walk in their shoes, literally. Any politician dem or repb would have my vote. Show me you actually care. I am sorry you feel this way, for example, about katrina victims, but there is only so much money in the United States budget and were doing all we can. The No Child Left Behind Act has been very effective due to public schooling.
