Possession- remix by RABBIT IN THE MOON, is incredible, i actually heard it before the original vrsion, and bought it on vinyl immediately,this song was huge in the underground dance scene. also check out Out Of Body Experience or OBE, by RABBIT IN THE MOON

Just FYI, some of the lyrics were taken from the love notes sent to her from her stalker. He tried to sue her over copyright issues, but lost in court. He committed suicide afterwards.

Music can be changed to mean what you want it to but music in my opion should mean what the artist wanted it to mean its like poetry with out the meaning of the song its just notes or words on a page the meaning is what makes it great and breath taking!

the beauty of music is that you can take the words and make it apply however you want it to..
to me possession is a song of loving someone so deeply so magically, so intensely and not being able to be with that person.. that being with that person is wrong, a sin, but a sin to be without..
and the hollow ache that you are forever left with.. that demon of emptiness that you are forever burdened with.. and in possession, the solitude, the breathing of their breath.. like here:

Apparently there are some subtle indications towards rape in this song, as it did refer to a stalker sarah had. I think it is a beautiful song with varrying meanings and ways of understand it... its amazing

In an interview Sarah explained these lyrics. The song has to do with a stalker. If you listen to the words from that perspective they do not sound so sweet anymore. It sounds tragic. Very gripping lyrics that brings out emotion none the less.

i think the meaning of this song is as clear as the songs title.
Possession = Demons taking over your body.
Noone else could want to breath the breath of a person unless they themselves have never felt what its like to be a person.
i can assure once you have felt what its like to have something take over your body, and if you are a spiritual person, you will just know that its wrong!!!

When i first listened too this song, i was like ah what ? and then i got the chance to read the lyrics. and now i understand it. It's a great song for me. I've had a love in my life but i couldn't have it. I have met him from one of my friends and he always promises me that he will be here with me soon, and it will never happen. Before he left i kissed him so hard, and he took my breath away.
