This city's not the same without you but I proud here on my own
Below this winter sky I ain't counting time but it sure is passing slow
Been sitting up at the overlook the view's best now it's cold
Coal loads go east and empties west and the river's been mighty low

Yeah the mayor's out spinning his on top again
And the river front's gone to those with most cash in hand

All collared blue with eyes bloodshot red on payment plans to keep warm
