I have been a fan of Waylon Jennings forever I think. For all his rough and rowdy ways, he could put so much soul into a song, and I think this song is the best. Whenever I'm a little sad or down for no particular reason, I dig up this song and listen to it. Somehow, it always makes me feel better. If I may, I'd like to make just one more comment. Waylon and I were both born in 1937. I was a moth or so older than him. So we came from the same generation. I guess that's why I feel such a kinship for him. We miss you Waylon. RIP.
