It’s a good time to get rid of the fences that somehow –

Were built between its peoples – and around the things they need

And caused a world of plenty – to be spoiled by power and greed.

We’re going to build a bridge across the world

And get all of its peoples holding hands!

If only we could do it – and do it very soon –

We’d have a world of plenty – ‘neath the sun and ‘neath the moon.

We’d take away all hunger – and take away all need-

All war would disappear then – and so would all the greed…
