Roger Alan Wade 'Rhinestones In The Ashes' lyrics

Roger Alan Wade
Rhinestones in The Ashes

There's a train out on the mainline
climbing to Hatchapee
there's a place cross the railroad tracks
they call eternity

And somewhere there's a jukebox
cowboys shooting pool
street narcotics in his socks
no thread left on the spool

There's a fire in the desert
Whiskey on the wind
Im'ma say its been a pleasure
adios my friend
and all that's left is a promise and a pack of matches
For the sequined ghost in Buck Owens clothes
and Rhinestones in the ashes

So long City of Angels
Speckled bird spread your wings
Bring me a halo
of Gene Normans guitar strings

There's no spirit in the embers
Just a sweet song on the breeze
Station wagon zig zagging through
the Joshua trees

Theres a fire in the desert
whiskey on the wind
Im'ma say its a been a pleasure
adios my friend
and all thats left is a promise and a pack of matches
For the sequined ghost in Buck Owens clothes
and Rhinestones in the Ashes

There's a sequined ghost on Buck Owens clothes
and Rhinestones in the Ashes

I agree with you Nico, he's got one good song!, And I can't find it either. The only way I could get it was to hook my cd burner up to my tv and burn it off the movie. The sound isn't all that great but at least I've got it. And it was a little trouble to go through, but worth it!
