  I read an article written in the 70's about Kate Wolf taking a back road home around Santa Rosa and warning about all the subdivisions taking over. If her husband and band members are still around, I'm sure their home on the outskirts was swallowed in a heartbeat.

  My mother lived and died in Santa Rosa a few months ago and traffic is horrific and the city a mess. My sister, who lives in Sebastopol, introduced me to Kate Wolf's music and I just took up the guitar and would like to work out the chords for Emma Rose, as it is a favorite of mine.

  I am tired and need to sleep but I edited the lyrics so they matched up properly.
  I only discovered Kate in 2004 ... I love her music and identify all too well with it. I feel if she were still around I could be next door and have a sit down, a heart to heart talk and an afternoon of sitting on the porch singing laughing and crying...Girl stuff. *smile*
