Desire lyrics

Desire is just a lever to elevate our lives. There’s no need to lament the loss of love. It drives me hard against my own heart, the weak and feeble part of me that craves the fame of love. Oh I’ve felt so many desires die and just leave me despising that which I once loved. So I love and long on my own, horizons crumble in my hands as I learn new depths of love. There’s no-one I can pin my hopes on, no-one underneath this sun who I expect to give me love. Oh and I won’t spend even one minute pining, hoping for some poor soul to provide me with love. Oh it’s the bitter pill of reason, the only way to freedom. Don’t lament the loss of love.
