We may think we’ve not met before, but we’ve danced out our lives on a million dancefloors. For centuries now I’ve waltzed you around, you limbo’d me lifeless and disco’d me down. You shimmied me slow and salsa’d me sweet, to each other’s heartbeats we quantised our feet. And always again we will always meet, so let’s match our moves to the infinite beat. If you say “Dance” then I’ll dance, I’ll dance with you. Like the flamenco, a flame burns inside my belly when I hear your name. The quickening beat that I feel runs down through the ground and into your heels. I’m scared to see you ‘cos I feel a fool, you ignore me foolishly, reflection rules.
