You didn't hear it from me,
But I know I know something I shouldn't know,

They must not see

You're the secret I must keep at any cost

If they read
The painful poetry
And they find out that I feel all will be lost

I'm trying to make sense,
Feelings so intense,
It's hard to cut the dramatics whenever you're young,
I'm writing every word of it down

You'd know what I mean
If you could have seen
It was like a coincidence only turned on its head,
It took me 20 pages to tell

If they see

I'm a liar that's expected in your youth

They can't know
That I feel and so
You'll be on fire and they'll never know the truth
