a very good and realistic song, i like the way blunt is down to earth and truthfull of an experience not so alien to many of us, it happens do you want to say that in your life you have never admired somebody so much and thought the person is so beautiful but there was nothing you can do so that you can be together just be realistic and think twice about the song and you see it's a beatiful song.

Look, the reason that they have it flying high and fucking high is cause they had to clean it up for the radio. It doesnt change the meaning of the song at all. With the word Fucking it connotates to how angry he is at himself for being high. While Flying high represents the drug experience like LSD. They both refer to him bein high, but the main reason they made it flying high was so they could play it on the radio. And yea it got overplayed, and he has some other amazing songs like "Goodbye My Lover" and "Tears and Rain", but its w/ev it made him popular and that got his messaage across.
