Shes a blackbird in the starlight
moving to the moonlight
as the clouds waylay
The cockatoos are singing
As the nightingales are gleaning
In the blue Chagall
She's aura borealis
In a peacocks crystal palace
As the heather sways
All the day lights my way
Northern lights are very near
I can see them in her tears
She's a million miles away
No one tells her what to say
She won't say what she means
In a castle by the river
Where the highlands flounce and quaver
Her songs ring out
In the stratospheric magic
Her life is sweet and tragic
She's the falling snow
Down below
Her fog hangs low
Where no one goes
Northern Lights are very near
I can see them in her tears

She's a jewel box in the mirror
Floating in the raindrops as the clouds lay low
The daffodils bloom lazy as the world is
spinning crazy in the mull berry
She's a siren in the purple
Calling to the people who remember love
She's beauty's dove
