The Water
Stephen Hurd-Times of Refreshing

In between the winds and the waves
the sea and the sun is where I hear the
Holy voice of God, a righteous Holy one.
In my time of contemplation
when I need a revelation
will I stay or will I go
I come to You because You know

Well, I run to the water
Come to the water
Pray by the water
That’s where I hear God

Stay by the water
Pray by the water
Sing by the water
So I can hear God

I talk to Him because He knows

That’s where He speaks to me, He creates in me
and He gives me relief in my place of peace

Speak to me
Create in me
I know I know
so I can hear God yeah yeah
That’s where I hear God

Come in
He’s speaking
He’s moving
By the water
